They are very active in social media, but needed an improved website CMS that would allow them to manage their site more effectively. We created an entirely new site design and color scheme.

  • Multiple, deliberate giving opportunities
  • Donors and supporters can create personal fundraising pages
  • Easy integration with social media
  • Drupal content management system with CiviCRM plugins
  • Email marketing system (saves on the cost of a service like Constant Contact or aweber)
  • Donor, volunteer and adopter databases
  • Complex online adoption application process allows adopters to apply for an animal, then volunteers and staff can keep track of application checks and progress on the backend, so no one duplicates efforts

  • Data feed integration from product distributors
  • Multiple search filters for product selection (manufacturer, price, activity, brand, etc.)

Patients are able to see pictures of the facility so they know what to expect when they arrive. They can also download all forms and fill them out before their surgery, saving time for patients and staff alike. Patients are also able to make payments on their accounts through the website.

Their new site is slick, professional and utilizes Shopify technology for easy ecommerce management. OMG is very familiar with Shopify and can create custom storefronts and skins for your stores. Oklahoma Media Group pitched the Arts Council with the idea of having a mobile web site, specifically optimized for and aimed at mobile devices and users.

The Festival is an event with many performing artists on various stages, multiple opportunities for entertainment and dining. The mobile site provides a way for users to get real-time information while they are on site at the event.

This was an idea we had been tossing around since the 2008 report, but at that time we couldn’t see it manifest. So this year we planned to do the 2009 report with the journey/travel theme.

All these animals take quite a journey, and we thought it would be neat to theme the annual report around a few of those stories. The organization itself is on quite a journey as well, so all in all it made for a really nice package, we think. We plan to enter this in the 2010 Addy competition to be held next winter (Feb. 2011).
